The Waterfall of Tukad Cepung still remains Bali’s finest virgin waterfall. The fact that many people don’t know this place yet and you don’t have any commercial tourist spots, you don’t have to pay anything for entering the region. Since the local villagers are well maintained in the region and some help to show visitors the waterfall, it would be nice to give them a tip so that they will keep it hidden.
Tukad Cepung has hyped all who succeeded in detecting it. This waterfall is well guarded by the cliffs. It is not easy to find the first visitor. Once you reach the destination, a few hundred steps down the cliff is worthwhile. The circular cliffs make you feel in a cave, while the open air correct from the cascade provides you the most beautiful view. The sunlight falls on the brilliant waterfall, producing a rainbow, which feels like you are being projected.
You would be lucky if you had never seen water flowing from the heavens. Tukad Cepung Waterfalls does not flow into rivers, streams and jungles, but flows smoothly through the cliffs, in contrast to any other cascades in Bali. You can see the river from above, and only once you go down the escalator and down the cliff can you see the waterfall.
Since the water builds up in the cliffs, during the rainy seasons it becomes really deep. Therefore, visits to the waterfall of Tukad Cepung during moonsoon are not advised. But you can sit and watch the flow of water flowing down and a tight stream into the cliff during other seasons. This place is relatively cool and provides an enormous feeling of tranquility and peace.
Bring your bathrobes to the location because you will definitely be tempted to go in and embrace the magical waterfall once you see it. Some people stand under the waterfall and sprinkle water for a nice moment. Since the location is well maintained, a clean and hygienic environment should be expected.
Try to relax in the moment near the cascade, listen to the water that runs and look at the incredible rainbows of the sunlight. “Many quiet rivers begin out from the loud cascades, but none jump and do not foam to the ocean. There’s a quote. But it is often a sign of excellent peace and concealed strength. “When you see or rather absorb the beauty of the Tukad Cepung waterfall, you will feel every single centimeter of this statement.
On your manner home, you can make a few stops throughout the region after several hours of being one with nature. Tukad Cepung’s waterfall is near to the Temple of Death, Pura Dalem Penida Kelod. For those looking for safety from disease and evil. It is a place for pilgrimage. Next of our stop at TIRTA GANGGA WATER PALACE: In the western highlands of the Karangasem regency in western Bali the Tirta Gangga royal water gardens are a cool retreat. It was founded in 1946 during the reign of the late King of Karangasem, Anac Agung Angelurah Ketut Karangasem (1887-1966).
It is situated on the Southeast path of the island’s largest mountain, Mount Agung. The luxurious water gardens are owned and preserved by the Royal Family of Karangasem, which are surrounded by well cut paths with stepping stones, ornate sculptures and tropical gardens of 1,2 hectares.
They are encircled by swimming pools and water fountains. After the damaging warm showers of volcanic ash from the 1963 eruption, it saw a sequence of restorations.
The first thing that is seen on the site is a pond, in which rows of guardian figures holding cudgels are arranged carefully. Polygonal steps are also arranged to allow visitors to tour the pool. This allows you to see the golden carp of the past and relatively large in the clear shallow pools from close up. The central towering fountain is behind the first pond and again it contains guardian statues at its base. The 10 meter high fountain has eleven levels with a lotus shape at its tip. The sputtering water sprinkles through the levels to make a cooling and relaxing view. The springs are on a higher terrain, under a big banyan tree, to the right of the site entrance. The waters are regarded as sacred by the local people and are used during religious ceremonies as well as drinkable water sources.
There are 2 transparent pools at the reduced stage of the water source. One is a government swimming pool, and tourists can swim here. The pools have a layout, composed of sandstone and natural materials, which goes back to ancient times. Various depths allow for swimming pools for all ages. The 100 square meters big swimming pool on the southern side is full of big golden carp and other big fish. There are two bridges linking the sides of the pool with mythical statues of a Balinese dragon.
Tirta Gangga is a common highlight of the Bali Eastern tour route. The site maintenance is subject to a small entrance fee. Some weekends might appear a little crowded as a popular retreat. Arriving at Pura Penataran Agung, the statue of the dragon, which is parallel to the steps that lead to the temple, will welcome you. The temple doors facing west are the most amazing sights here. From here you can see the beauty of Mount Agung, parallel to the door
Many photographers come to this place to find extraordinary images in the last time of Mount Agung. But if the weather is cloudy, here the mountain scenery of Agung can not be seen. There are other interesting things you can see here when fog moves the clouds over our heads very closely.
The view is very nice from here and from the Pura Lempuyang Gate you can see Agung mountain. Now the peoples called the heavenly door. Lempuya temple is the best time to visit around 9-10 am because there is no fog in excellent shine. The Temple is very wellknown because many individuals post Instagram and wait at the Gate Of Heaven Temple for three hours on queue.
