BCD-107: Mason Elephant Ride + Kintamani Volcano tour

Once satisfied at Mason Elephant Park, our tour continues by passing through the beautiful rural areas and we will head to Kintamani-Penelokan village, actually Penelokan and Kintamani are the same location, where from this place we see the beauty of the breathtaking view of Mount Batur with the peak of the crater that sometimes still emits smoke which is a sign that Mount In is Still Active, from here we also see several villages located at the foot of Mount Batur.
From here we will also be presented with the beauty of the largest Lake in Bali, named Batur Lake, with an area of 16.05 km2, a length of 2.5 km and a width of 7.5 km with a length of coastaline 21,4 km. On the edge of the lake we can see floating cages that are owned by villagers who breed freshwater fish, where these fish will be sold to a number of hotels and restaurants in Bali.
So this lake besides being useful as a spring for the island of Bali is also used to improve the economic performance of the surrounding community with freshwater fish grazing business, some villages on the edge of the lake have a livelihood as farmers, they plant various vegetables such as cabbage, mustard greens, beans, long beans, tomatoes, carrots, shallots, garlic and so on, the product agriculture will also be marketed to a number of traditional markets in Bali and also those that are marketed to hotels and restaurants in Bali.
Near the foot of the mountain and near Lake there are also hot water attractions managed by the private sector called Toya Devasya and there is also another a hot spring called Toya Bungkah managed by villagers, each day theese two bathing pools are visited by Many Local and international guests to unwind, relax in hot water with their beloved family on weekends is something very interesting to do. After finishing lunch, we will continue our tour by going down the road through the countryside and we will visit a temple that has a sacred spring named, Sebatu holly Spring temple, in Bali we have thousands of Temple scattered throughout Bali, starting from Mountain, we have the Besakih Temple as the Largest Temple in Bali which is located at the foot of Gunung Agung Rendang village Karangasem district, if you go to the lake, we have Ulun Danu Temple located in Danu Beratan and if you go to the sea, we have the Tanah Lot Temple is on the Tabanan Beraban Beach, so Bali is indeed famous as the Thousand Temple Island.
And today we will visit one of the temples owned by a village, where it is believed by Hindu people as a sacred place to worship the majesty of God with manifestation as a God of prosperity, because the water spraying from this temple is used as the rice irrigation which will provide thousands of tons of rice as the main food for Balinese people.
Our tour today will also visit the spices garden in this area, a place where travellers can take a break while trying free coffee served in this place, while drinking coffee you can enjoy the green herb garden which consists of coffee, cloves, fruit, etc. We can also see for a moment how the farmers from this place process coffee by traditional means, starting from choosing good coffee beans, drying, roasting and pounding with pestle, then sifted to get delicious coffee powder, their processed products are also sold for travellers, and also send to hotels and restaurants near the Ubud area, this is a concept of community empowerment that is part of the tourism industry, so farmers can also feel the impact of developing tourism in Bali.
